So, the plan didn't work. Even with the new pierces' added, the guide curves would still not bend to my will.

So, to fix this problem, Dan, the ever benevolent and inspiring leader, has suggested, I split the curves into four separate parts, rather then two sketches. I am quietly optimistic.

IT HAS WORKED. To a certain extent. Well, half worked anyway.

As it turns out, there were some random lines that were trying to ruin my day. With those being deleted, it worked.
